Nutritional Hierarchy: Food Composition

Next up on the pyramid, we have food composition, quality and micronutrients.

These, sadly, account for 10% or less of the battle when it comes to making changes in body composition.

This doesn’t mean we should be eating pizza and doughnuts ALL the time. It does mean that if we adhere to the more powerful things that we can have a little pizza or a doughnut SOMETIMES.

That is powerful stuff!

The big take away from this is we if we get out calories and macros in check, pay attention to timing a little bit, we can enjoy the foods we love in moderation and feel good about it! Eating your fruits and veggies and focusing on getting your foods from quality sources DOES have some amazing health benefit so don’t throw that out the window completely!
