We are passionate about helping people move well, especially our fellow crossfitters at Off the Grid, which is why Advance Physical & Aquatic Therapy is partnering with CrossFit off the Grid to offer PT services, at the box.

Physical therapy is most known for helping people recover from an injury, but we believe it has a strong role in fixing aches and pains with high intensity movement and also improving performance by locating and attacking weak spots that are causing problems and pain.

Heather Wnorowski

PT DPT OCS

Heather has been involved in Crossfit in some capacity since 2012. She had her first experience in Santa Cruz, when she walked into the gym for the first time and saw Brooke Ence throwing some serious weight around. At that point, she became interested in learning more about this growing sport and how she could find her role in the community.

After graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010, Heather has worked in a number of outpatient orthopedic clinics on both the east and west coasts. Enjoying the challenge of the field, she recently received board recognition as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

Since joining Off the Grid, Heather has been humbled by both the community and the teamwork demonstrated throughout the gym. Having the opportunity to give back to the community is exciting. She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge with you in order to keep you healthy as well as helping you to achieve your personal goals as an athlete.
