CrossFit Open…Why?

The CrossFit Open is just 5 short weeks away!

Why do the Open you ask?

Remember gang, the Open is for anyone.

“Why should I register? I’m not going to the Games.”

Well no, honestly not many people are but that’s not a reason to not participate. Personally I think it’s a great time of the year to test your baseline, find some weaknesses to work on for the rest of the year and give yourself a nice short-term goal coming out of the Winter.

BONUS! It’s only 3 weeks this year! (Oh and that pesty Mat Fraser retired! CF Games here I come!)

The Open starts March 11th @ 8pm. We will be performing the workouts starting Saturday, 3/13 during the 7:30/8:30 and 9:30 am classes.

“Finally, consider that the Open is simply a snapshot of your fitness at one point in time. Maybe you are rehabbing an injury, just coming back to the gym after a layoff. The easiest thing is to make an excuse and not participate. The Open can be the catalyst to get you back on track at the gym.”
