Have you ever heard the term “Holsitic Eating”?
Have you ever wondered what exactly that means?
Coach Madison breaks it down for you!
When the term Holistic Eating is being used, it’s referring to eating healthy foods that are as close to their natural state as possible.
Examples of holistic foods include eggs, beans, fruits, nuts, seeds, vegetables and meat like chicken, beef, pork and seafood.
The key is to stay away from processed foods. These foods are the ones we typically find in the center aisles of the grocery store.
We also want to try our best to get rid of the idea of “diet culture”, meaning to start cutting out those foods that are labeled as low carb, no sugar, or low fat. These foods often have fillers and additives that can be potentially harmful for our bodies.
Eating Holistic, real foods, help us to receive our vitamins and minerals that aid our body to receive proper nourishment and to regulate our bodily functions.
