OUR TEAM

Nick Seabock

Owner

Nick Seabock started CrossFit in October 2014 during the slow season of his cooking career to help keep him focused and creative. Nick was never much of a “sports” guy growing up besides skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding and had his doubts trying out this whole CrossFit thing. As fate would have it, he soon became an addict for all things CrossFit. He has since “retired” from chef-dom and pursues CrossFit full-time at CrossFit Off the Grid.

Nick is a CrossFit Level 2 trainer, has attended the USAW Weightlifting certification, and is a Power Monkey Camp 6 and 8 alumni. He has a passion for introducing the world of CrossFit to all who enter the gym, and actively help to guide them on their life changing journey with the support of the Off the Grid community. He has also developed a love for all things fitness including long distance training, OCR, Jiu Jitsu, Surfing, and Skateboarding. After years of growth, learning, exploring and traveling, Nick became the Owner of CrossFit Off the Grid in 2019. You will also see his wife Jill (Off the Grid Ambassador), their son Hudson and daughter Ryan (future CEO) working out at Off the Grid.

Erika Pugh coach at CrossFit off the Grid

Erika Pugh

Coach/Nutrition

Hello all! My name is Erika. I’m really excited about this opportunity to join the team at Off the Grid and I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me. I am a mom, a wife, a dog mom, a full-time student, and a part-time massage therapist. I love all things outdoors and summertime – gardening, hiking, camping and paddle boarding – and I have been running obstacle course races since 2011.

It was falling in love with OCRs that led me to CrossFit and to coaching. I coached and worked at a local CF gym in South Jersey for a few years and currently have my CF L2. I have taken a few weightlifting workshops along with the CF Dumbbell and Gymnastics courses and I hold Fitness Nutrition Certifications with Precision Nutrition and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I love CrossFit, I love coaching, and I loved the gym, but in 2018 I decided I needed to step away from the gym and from coaching to reassess some things and decide what I really wanted my life to look like. I went back to school and I am currently pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Rowan University with the goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian. Next year I will also begin work on a Certificate of Graduate Study in Wellness Coaching. I feel passionately about helping people live healthy and happy lives doing the things they enjoy. I believe that we do things in the gym so that we can live our lives better outside the gym. My time away from CrossFit was definitely longer than expected (thanks COVID) and I’m really excited to rejoin the community! I have missed everyone and I am looking forward to seeing some old faces and to meeting some new ones. Hope to see everyone soon! Dennis Sims coach at CrossFit off the Grid

Dennis Sims

Coach

Dennis began following CrossFit in the summer of 2007 thanks to a fellow SWAT team member who found this curious new way of training. After reading material on the CrossFit.com website, subscribing to the CrossFit Journal, and watching many of the demo videos, he transitioned over to the CrossFit style of fitness training and follows it to this day.

Dennis was a scholarship college football player who became a police officer eventually instructing and certifying other officers in the area of physical fitness. Dennis joined Off the Grid as a member several years ago after performing CrossFit workouts in traditional gym settings. Dennis wanted to continue to grow as an athlete and instructor and became a member of the Off the Grid coaching staff. Dennis has a M.A. (Criminal Justice) and M.P.A. (Public Administration) from Rutgers University, a B.A. (Law and Justice) from Rowan University, and is a certified New Jersey Police Training Commission Instructor with an added specialization as a physical fitness instructor. Dennis remains on staff at the Gloucester Count Police Academy as he looks to assist others, inside and outside of CrossFit, to lead an active lifestyle. Dennis enjoys welcoming new members to Off the Grid as he works hard to ease apprehension about this new method of training. He is a CF-L1, CF-L2 Trainer, and attended the CrossFit Weightlifting Trainer Course and the CrossFit Mobility Trainer Course. Dennis is also married with two beautiful daughters. Jen McMullen coach at CrossFit off the Grid

Jen McMullen

Coach/On-Ramp

At the age of 40, after living a mostly sedentary lifestyle, Jen decided that if nothing changes, nothing changes; so she started walking every day. This led to a little running, and then a lot of running. After three years of nothing but running, she’d developed many new issues/injuries with tendons and ligaments. For a change, she thought she’d try obstacle course racing, but she needed to gain strength. In 2012, after driving by many times, Jen finally stopped into CrossFit Off the Grid to see what “CrossFit” was all about.

She signed up and fell in love with it! Jen helps introduce new members to the world of CrossFit by guiding them through our Intro and Foundation On-Ramp classes. Kelly Wittenberger coach at CrossFit off the Grid

Kelly Wittenberger

Coach

Kelly was first introduced to Crossfit in 2013. She was intrigued at how it combined her love of gymnastics and kettlebells with unfamiliar barbell movements. After years of running alone for exercise, the camaraderie of the Crossfit community, in addition to the varied, challenging workouts, is what helped her get hooked from the start. Kelly graduated with Bachelor degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology from The College of New Jersey and will receive her M.A. in Special Education in May 2019.

She is an upper elementary special education teacher. Previously, Kelly was a full-time personal trainer and small group exercise instructor. Additionally, she has many years of experience coaching gymnastics on recreational and high school varsity levels. Kelly has her Level 2 and CrossFit Mobility certifications in addition to multiple kettlebell instructor certifications and a NASM personal training certification. Kelly married fellow longtime Off the Grid member, Adam, in August 2019. CREDENTIALS CrossFit Level 1 CrossFit Level 2 CrossFit Mobility NASM Personal Training.

Kat Norcutt coach at CrossFit off the Grid

Kat Norcutt

Coach/On-Ramp

Hi there, my name is Kat and I have been involved with CrossFit for 4 ½ years! My passion for CrossFit developed quickly as I started seeing results immediately. I am a mom to six children, and as a busy mom, I had developed some unhealthy habits over the years. As the kids started leaving the house and those responsibilities that were holding me back from leading a healthier lifestyle were disappearing, I decided I needed a change.

I guess you could say I went through an empty nest syndrome and realized that my life didn’t revolve around my children and their many activities anymore, so I decided to take my own health and well-being into my own hands. Now that I have been doing this for a few years, I decided to pursue CrossFit to the next level and help those who are starting out. I began to educate myself within the health and fitness industry and look forward to whatever the future may bring with it! I have always felt that the more knowledge you have in a specific subject, the better you are equipped to handle any situation that may arise. So when the opportunity presented itself, I decided to come on board CrossFit off the Grid. I did so because I love helping people, and I love showing others what this community can do for them. I have years of customer service experience, and pride myself in relating to all walks of life! CREDENTIALS Two Brain 1:1 Coaching Two Brain Group Coaching CF-OL1.

Tony Dzindzio coach at CrossFit off the Grid

Tony Dzindzio

Coach/On-Ramp

Tony heard about CrossFit from a friend who would constantly talk about it. He and his wife Tracie finally gave in, gave it a try and have been doing CrossFit since July 2017. Over the past 20 years, Tony has struggled with his weight and at one point was well over 400lbs. Feeling unhappy, no lie he told himself would change that feeling. After deciding to do a life saving surgery, he started losing weight but “Fat Tony” was still screaming in his head.

CrossFit was a way for him to help quiet the voices by working on his confidence, improving his mental health and learning better habits. When COVID shut down the planet and closed the physical doors of CrossFit Off the Grid, Tony and Tracie decided to get some gym equipment and workout in the basement. They opened up their house to other 5:15am members and he was designated to lead the group. During that time he realized he enjoyed leading workouts and decided to complete the CF-OL1 certification. Tony loves to work with members who are interested in improving their Spartan knowledge or tackling their first Spartan race. Tony’s wife Tracie is our Mindset coach and you will often see them working out together at 5:15am! Remain or evolve. Greg Martin

Greg started CrossFit in 2013 as a 42 year old, unhealthy and sedentary man. Fearing that his lifestyle was going to shorten his life, he decided to make a change… for himself, for his wife and for his kids! Greg, a weightlifter in high school and in college, had not worked out in many years, until he found CrossFit Off the Grid. After losing well over 100lbs, Greg turned his unhealthy, sedentary lifestyle into a much healthier, active and happier lifestyle.

Greg has gone on to compete in the Escape the Cape Triathlon, the MS City to Shore 100 mile cycling event as well as Tough Mudder, Rugged Maniac and many other running races and obstacle events, many of which raised money for charities such as Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Greg’s motto is “If I can, you can!” and does all he can to motivate others to give CrossFit a try! In 2017, Greg completed his CrossFit Level 1 Certification with the goal of helping others who simply feel like they CAN’T… and showing them they ABSOLUTELY can… and have fun doing it! Greg is married to Tracy, a member of OTG, one who swore she never “could”… and now DOES! Greg is also a father of three daughters who are the apple of his eye.
