Caffeine Pro’s and Con’s

Have you ever wondered how caffeine effects the body? Is it helpful or is it harmful? Can it really boost your workout?

Why we LOVE caffeine?

1) Helps us focus
2) Boosts our energy
3) Increases the body’s ability to burn fat

Why we DON’T love caffeine?

1) Many add sugar and cream to their coffee, this can have the opposite desired effects i.e. feeling lethargic
2) Too much caffeine can make sleep hard to come by when we turn in for the night
3) Many substitute coffee for water, which can lead to dehydration. It’s important to remember to drink water as we ingest caffeine.
