Our last powerlifting-focused cycle produced over 200 PRs by the time test week was over. We couldn’t be happier with how you guys listened and trusted in the program. Another great result was the improved WOD times on some of the testers that we repeated. Not only did we get stronger, but we also got faster along the way. We couldn’t have asked for better results, so thank you.
This past week and the current week will be a time to enjoy ourselves. We will be throwing in some things we haven’t done in a while and doing a few partner WODs as well. This is the time we recover before we start the grind of the next cycle. This could be a time to recover physically and mentally after the pretty intense testing week. It’s ok to show up and have fun with little or no focus on scores and weights lifted. Use this time to relax and try to enjoy our subpar jokes in class.
The next cycle, which begins on August 10th, will really test our gymnastics. We will still be hitting certain lifts along with the focus on improving our overall gymnastics abilities. We are even trying to get some special guests in for you guys, but more to come on that. Also, look for longer more aerobic based WODs in this next cycle. This won’t be everyday but more of the trend. Thanks for trusting in us and as long as you keep showing up we can continue to improve your fitness level.
